Half term is one of the most popular weeks of the season so if there is one piece of advice we could give, it would be to book early to get the best choice of luxury ski chalets for half term. Usually falling in the second week of February, half term is a fantastic time of year to hit the slopes with excellent snow conditions, longer days and temperatures on the rise. We have some fantastic family-friendly luxury chalets where you can spend quality time with your children over half term, as well as a range of ski in ski out chalets making it as easy as possible to access the slopes.

There are also plenty of ways you can enjoy a half term holiday in the mountains as a non-skier. Most resorts have a wide range of activities to keep families entertained on and off the slopes over the half term holiday.
Best ski resorts for half term skiing
With half term ski holidays becoming increasingly popular across Europe, choosing a resort which has a large ski area is a great way to try and avoid crowded slopes. February brings great conditions across the Alps with most resorts (depending on the year) having good natural snow. However, if you want to be sure of finding great snow cover then head for higher altitude resorts. The ‘Pearl of the Alps’, Saas Fee’s high-altitude makes for snow-sure skiing for most of the season.
