Description
With an exclusive location, breathtaking views and incredible design, Chalet Zermatt Peak really is the peak of luxury.
Accessed via a private tunnel, Chalet Zermatt Peak has an iconic location set into the side of the mountain with unrivalled panoramic views across the picturesque village of Zermatt. Six floors of luxury living including five en-suite designer bedrooms accommodate a maximum of ten adults and three children. Designed by renowned designer and developer, Paul Bowyer, the property is an intriguing combination of wood, glass and stone with floor-to-ceiling windows maximising the spectacular views.
Located on the second floor is the main living and dining area featuring a double-height exposed timber ceiling, a feature fireplace and ambient lighting design incorporating handmade murano crystal light fittings and floor lighting. An Ergeonmic De Sede moving sofa can be positioned to take full advantage of all aspects of the living area. The designer feature chrome, glass and walnut dining table can seat up to twelve guests and there is also a spacious fully-fitted kitchen with an extensive range of Gaggenau and Miele appliances.
A second outdoor, all weather kitchen for year round al-fresco dining can be found on the external terrace. Also on this level is an office/library area with TV, computer, Wii and extensive book and DVD library. The living area has digital surround sound for TV/video and music.
Chalet Zermatt Peak has five opulent bedrooms featuring a unique blend of Brazilian stone, Italian marble and porcelain flooring. Each bedroom has either a private terrace, or balcony with designer seating and bio-fire coffee tables. There is a private Jacuzzi bath in the master bathroom and a ‘Gallery’ bedroom with a glass roof, offering panoramic views of the mountains and stars by night.
The wellness facilities on the ground floor provide the perfect combination of style and tranquility. Sliding doors opening onto the terrace transform the bespoke internal Jacuzzi into an outdoors one, and there is plenty of space for outdoor entertaining. Other features include a bio steam room, dry Finnish and wet Swedish sauna options and a relaxation area with designer chaise-longue seating. A fitness area is equipped with everything from weights and a power plate to a cross-trainer cycling machine and exercise balls.
Chalet Zermatt Peak’s ski room is certainly worth highlighting; with ambiance lighting, digital surround sound TV, feature storage and heated boot warmers, you’d be hard pushed to find a finer one around. The walk-in wine cellar is also impressive, featuring a floor-to-ceiling glass wall and an extensive collection of fine wines and champagne.
