Description
Refined beauty in the Dolomites
Surrounded by the untouched forests of Val Pusteria, White Deer San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge is located in a former Austrian region of South Tyrol, San Lorenzo di Sebato. The property is just a 15-minute drive from the Kronplatz ski area. The property also has its own private helipad and a private nine-hole golf course.
Passionately restored by owners, Giorgia and Stefano, the lodge is a true refuge in the heart of the Dolomites. Accommodating six adults and four children in four bedrooms, the property is ideal for families looking for true rest and relaxation.
The entrance hall, with its vaulted ceilings, wooden decor and ancient artefacts sets the scene for what is to come. The interiors are rustic yet elegant and warmed by crackling fires. On the entrance level is a tea parlour with a small library, stereo and TV, the perfect place for relaxing with a book. Blending tradition and modernity is a fully-equipped kitchen whilst the dining room is kept warm by a traditional Tyrolean “stube”.
Also on this level is a TV room stocked with children’s games. The main lounge with open fireplace is located on the first floor.
White Deer San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge has a dedicated wellness area on the first floor with Finnish sauna, Turkish bath with chromotherapy, whirlpool and experience shower. An outdoor lounge and whirlpool in the garden is perfect for late-night dips whilst admiring the surrounded jagged peaks and shimmering lights of the town in the distance. The lodge has its own wine cellar stocked with over 1,500 bottles of the finest Alto Adige wines.
Four charming bedrooms are located on the first floor. There are two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. A third double bedroom shares a bathroom with the children’s bunk room which sleeps four.
From cycling tours with experienced bike guides, lessons in rock climbing, via ferrata and white water rafting to berry picking in the forests of the estate, foraging for mushrooms, cooking lessons and cheese and wine tastings, there is plenty to keep you entertained during the summer months.
